Cyndy McDonald has over twenty-five years of experience as an independent college counselor, high school counselor, and middle school counselor. She helped found the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA), a national organization for private college consultants. Cyndy also launched GuidedPath, a college counseling software that is now used by organizations throughout the world. As a first generation college student herself, she has a passion for helping students access higher education. She is currently involved in launching a non-profit organization, After Military Planning, to help active military and veterans explore educational options.
