IEC Professional Development- Spring & Summer Opportunities

As professionals, we need to stay abreast of current trends, keep up to date on data, and continue to hone our professional expertise.  One of the best ways to do this is through conferences and trainings. Many organizations host conferences and trainings in the spring and summer (see Spring Professional Development Opportunities). Know which conferences will best meet your needs as a professional advisor, whether you are in a school, program or other organization.

Focus on IEC’s

If you are looking for training as an IEC, you have lots of choices. Be sure to register early, as the registration for the conference and for hotels (associated with the conference) tends to fill up early!  Not a member of an organization? No worry. Most organizations love having non-members attend. Typically the non-member rate is a bit more than the member rate- giving you another good reason to become a member of an organization!

Here are my favorite conferences for IEC’s in the spring.  All have registration now open.
